Iowa Faith & Freedom Coalition's 24th Annual Fall Banquet

  •  Featuring keynote speaker Tom Homan, who served in the Trump Administration as Acting Director of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
  •  The event was held at the Airport Holiday Inn in Des Moines.

After serving as the Trump Administration’s Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Homan is uniquely qualified to educate attendees on (1) the current state of our southern U.S. border, (2) how it came to be so, and, most important, (3) how we can fix it.

WHO IS TOM HOMAN?

Tom Homan is a straight shooter who offers no BULL. The former ICE director says what he means and means what he says, but watch out — he’s “pissed off.” (His words, not ours.) Homan also informs listeners of the following:

  • According to a report by Doctors Without Borders, 31% of the women who migrate North through Mexico to the U.S. get sexually assaulted.
  • More than 1,700 migrants have died on U.S. soil since Joe Biden took office — a record.
  • Over 100,000 Americans have died of fentanyl overdoses — also a record.
  • ICE reported more sex trafficking cases in 2023 than in the previous six years combined — record numbers.
  • A record number of potential terrorists are suspected to be crossing the border.
  • Chaos reigns.

That’s the bad news. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We can do better. President Trump will do better. He’s done it before. After the Trump Administration appointed Homan to lead ICE in January 2017, the bold decision immediately produced measurable results. ICE made more than 41,000 arrests between the date of Trump’s Inauguration and the end of April — an increase of almost 40% compared to the same period one year earlier. Next, Homan became a leading advocate for the Trump administration's “Zero Tolerance” policy on immigration. Tough but fair, the strategy worked, and Homan was proud of the border’s condition when he handed off the reins.

Sadly, Joe Biden’s regime has systematically torn down most of Homan’s hard work. It has become clear that the leftists in the Senate majority and the liberal Biden Administration won’t act aggressively at the border — or even barely at all — to end this self-induced crisis. As such, IFFC intends to work tirelessly to elect conservative candidates in 2024, and that includes returning a staunch conservative to the Oval Office!

IFFC has had the most significant impact of any in-state pro-family organization. With the assistance of our national parent organization, we successfully executed a sophisticated grassroots delivery program (see statistics below) to help engineer unprecedented electoral successes in 2022. We stand poised to do likewise in 2024.

  • A Quarter-million Personal Home Visits — credit to Charlie Johnson for implementation.
  • Peer-to-peer text messages — 335,100 — including Early Vote reminders and Election Day reminders.
  • Digital Voter Education Outreach — Banner Ads, Digital Video, Mobile Ads, Facebook, Twitter & Email.
  • Mailed 850,000 Pieces of Voter Education — including mailings for all congressional districts and 18 State House & State Senate Districts.
  • 1.3 Million Get-Out-the-Vote calls.
  • Distributed 650,000 Voter Guides to 1,600 churches.

Iowa Faith & Freedom Coalition's 24th Annual Spring Kickoff

Saturday, April 20th!

When: Saturday, April 20 — Doors at 4 p.m., Dinner at 4:30; Program at 5:30.

Where: Horizon Events Center, 2100 N.W. 100th St., Clive, IA 50325

Expectations: IFFC’s highly anticipated Spring event promises to be an incredible opportunity to come together as a community, enjoy delicious food and faithful fellowship, plus engage in meaningful political discourse.

The current administration’s results are an embarrassment. The number of Joe Biden-induced dumpster fires is too long to list, but here is a recap of his “highlights.”

●  THE CRUSHING WEIGHT OF THE NATIONAL DEBT: $34 Trillion and counting — $100,000 per citizen, or $260,000 for each taxpayer.

●  SKY-HIGH INTEREST RATES: When Biden took office people could get a 30-year mortgage at 3%, that number is now almost 8% — more than double.

●  RAMPANT INFLATION: Prices are up 15% on Biden’s watch.

●  BORDER CRISIS: At least 6.2 million illegals have crossed the southern border since Biden’s inauguration — probably more, and roughly double Iowa’s population of 3.2 million.

●  FENTANYL FLOOD: Roughly 70,000 fentanyl-related deaths have been recorded in each of the last two years.

●  FLESH-4-SALE: Trafficking humans is a $150 billion industry worldwide — $100 billion of that is paid for sex. Kids account for more than a quarter of the victims — as you read this, 300,000 minors in America are considered at risk for sexual exploitation.

●  FAILED FOREIGN POLICY: Remember the shameful Afghanistan exodus? That inept show of weakness led to tragedy in Ukraine and Israel. Iran is a ticking time bomb. China’s Xi Jinping and Russia’s Vladimir Putin are salivating.

The upcoming Presidential election stands poised to be the most significant in our lifetime. Let’s get this one right. Join us on Saturday, April 20 help win back the White House!
